Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various office tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
