Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures. For the right candidate, paid on the job training is available for this position.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
Take medical imaging as required, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls for patient care.
Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Support the team in administrative tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, but on the job training is available.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Proficient understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
