Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with dental terminology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Review insurance information and assist patients with understanding their coverage, including Medicare and ICD-10 codes.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and address patient concerns effectively.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with documentation review processes.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable to assist our diverse patient population.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 ââ¬â 40 per week
