Job Summary: We are seeking a highly-skilled and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a calming presence, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing patients with the highest level of care and education about oral hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Conduct initial patient screenings, clean teeth (e.g., removing plaque), and manage oral examinations and patient records.
Education and Prevention: Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, such as how to brush and floss correctly, the importance of a balanced diet, and other ways to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Dental Procedures: Apply preventative materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides), and assist in managing oral diseases.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other team members to provide optimal patient care and coordinate treatment plans.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
Qualifications:

Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
Current state license as a Dental Hygienist.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-centric approach.
Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures, standards, and equipment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with digital recordkeeping systems.
A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
