Job Description
Job SummaryClinch River Health Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, from routine check-ups to complex dental procedures, while maintaining a strong focus on infection control and patient education.
Clinch River Health Services offers a competitive salary and excellent benefit package which includes; 100% paid Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance for providers and their family, $15,000 life insurance plan paid for by CRHS, 9 paid Holidays per year, 6 free visits to the health center per year for medical visits, 10 CME days per year with $1,000 CME money per year, Vacation and Sick Time accrual begin at date of hire, a stipend is given to assist employees with cost of Short-Term and Long-Term Disability plans, and Retirement options are available beginning at date of hire with a match after being employed for one year. CRHS does qualify for application to the Tuition Loan Repayment program with HRSA. Providers also receive 4hrs per week for administrative time for charting.

Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals (Endodontics), crowns, bridges (Prosthodontics), and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting treatments and progress.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Skills
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Proficiency in infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform endodontic procedures with precision and care.
Competence in prosthodontics for effective restoration of teeth.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions and education.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records and managing patient flow.
