Responsibilities:
✔ Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a range of procedures, including root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
✔ Maintain and update patients’ dental EMR accurately.
✔ Maintain compliance with dental office protocols, including weekly spore testing, Quarterly waterline testing, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.
✔ Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment.
✔ Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide clear postoperative care instructions to support their recovery and long-term dental health.
✔ Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and a seamless clinical experience.

Qualifications:
✔ 2-3 consistent years’ experience in the dental field
✔ Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
✔ Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
✔ Understanding of dental radiography and ability to take and process X-rays (if state-certified).
✔ Familiarity with dental Dentrix software for scheduling, record-keeping, and insurance processing.
