Responsibilities:
â Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a range of procedures, including root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
â Maintain and update patientsâ dental EMR accurately.
â Maintain compliance with dental office protocols, including weekly spore testing, Quarterly waterline testing, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.
â Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment.
â Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide clear postoperative care instructions to support their recovery and long-term dental health.
â Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and a seamless clinical experience.

Qualifications:
â 2-3 consistent yearsâ experience in the dental field
â Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
â Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
â Understanding of dental radiography and ability to take and process X-rays (if state-certified).
â Familiarity with dental Dentrix software for scheduling, record-keeping, and insurance processing.

Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Required)
Work Location: In person
