Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team to provide the highest quality of care.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Conduct a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Eaglesoft software.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatment effectively.
Provide preventive care and education to patients regarding oral hygiene and health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members in a four-handed dentistry environment.
Manage pediatric patients with compassion and expertise in pediatric dentistry practices.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures to enhance patient care.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with medical records management and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred.
Strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and pediatric dentistry.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dentistry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
