Job Description
Overview:
In addition to duties associated a front desk team member, the Front Desk Supervisor works closely with the Office Manager to assure that all the business aspects of the practice are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner. The Front Desk Supervisor communicates the practice philosophy through systems, problem solving and communication. As the main conduit of information between doctor and team, the Front Desk Supervisor strives to bring out the best in the entire team by focusing on our Core Values.
Duties:
Supervising team members to ensure maximum production and service.
Front desk recruiting efforts through application screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Training / Touch Base with Front Desk / Call Center to update EAP tiers.
Daily Payment Reconciliation.
Prepares work schedules for front desk / call center team to assure optimal production and service.
Monitors patient schedule to ensure efficient scheduling and patient requests
Keeps practice in compliance with health regulations and OSHA.
Acts as a liaison between patients and team concerning problems and complaints and attempts to resolve the matter(s).
Educates, motivates and trains front desk / call center team to achieve excellent customer service and patient satisfaction from services rendered by the practice team.
Assures that the office is clean, professional and well kept.
Conduct monthly meeting(s) with associate & owner doctor
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Familiarity with dental terminology and administrative support functions in a healthcare setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ââ¬â 40 per week
