Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. The Dentist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals (endodontics), and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure all infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed and provide guidance on proper usage.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients when necessary.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in endodontics is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is a plus.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and regulations.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Experience in four-handed dentistry is desirable but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients of all ages, particularly children in pediatric dentistry settings.

Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
