Longwood Dental Group is an award-winning multi-specialty, multi-location dental practice offering state of the art dental technology and a comfortable working atmosphere.
We presently have an opportunity at our Boston Smile Center, Coolidge Corner location for a Dental Assistant. Boston Smile Center is a long established practice with 2 doctors and 1 hygienist; offering a comfortable work environment. The staff have been with the practice for years! Our hygienist has been with us for 20 years!
If you are comfortable in a small, but busy office we’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to advance to a Lead Dental Assistant.
Dental Assistant responsibilities include:
Assisting dentists in all phases of chair-side dental treatment using four-handed method.

Radiographs
Temporary Crowns, 3-D Scans
Clean instruments including sterilization of all instruments utilizing all infection control policies
Instrument and materials set-up for all aspects of dental care.
Knowledge of composite materials, cements, bases, varnishes and temporaries
Four-handed assisting techniques, instrumentation for crown and bridgework
Knowledge of removable prosthetics and impression-making
Knowledge of Invisalign

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Assistant license (Required)
