Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Utilize 3D scanners for impressions and assist with prosthodontics procedures when necessary.
Stay updated on medical terminology, dental terminology, and advancements in dental technology.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices is essential, with an emphasis on prosthodontics being a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
A solid understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques will be beneficial for this role.
