Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.
Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Support the administrative team with medical coding and billing as necessary.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology relevant to general dentistry practices.
Experience with 3D scanners for imaging purposes is a plus.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques to assist dentists effectively.
Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate billing processes.
Competence in medical imaging technologies to support diagnostic procedures.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
