"ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR THE PERFECT CANDIATE"We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment by ensuring that all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. This position requires a strong understanding of aseptic techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities

Perform cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of dental and medical instruments according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Assist in the preparation of surgical trays and ensure all necessary instruments are available for procedures.
Utilize medical imaging and documentation systems to track instrument usage and sterilization status.
Collaborate with dental professionals in various specialties including endodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry to meet specific sterilization needs.
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
Implement aseptic techniques during instrument handling to prevent contamination.
Support the integration of technology such as 3D scanners in the sterilization process when applicable.

Requirements

Knowledge of sterilization processes and infection control protocols is essential.
Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation practices.
Experience with Epic software is preferred but not mandatory.
Understanding of four-handed dentistry practices is advantageous.
Previous exposure to endodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry environments is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also maintaining individual responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure compliance with health standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
