Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)- Perform dental charting, record medical histories, and update patient records- Provide post-operative instructions to patients- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred- X-Ray certification required- Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or CAD- Familiarity with medical imaging and terminology- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
