Position Overview
Kare Mobile is seeking a passionate and skilled Dentist to join our team. As a Mobile Dentist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to patients across Kentucky. This position requires a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the oral health of communities.
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans to patients of all ages.
2. Perform dental procedures including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, and routine cleanings.
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to promote oral health initiatives and programs.
6. Participate in mobile dental clinics, community events, and outreach programs as needed.
7. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
8. Travel to various locations within Western Kentucky, Georgia, and potentially other areas as required.
Qualifications
1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
2. Valid state dental license and in good standing with the state dental board.
3. Experience working as a licensed Dentist is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
4. Willingness to travel and work in different locations, including rural and underserved communities.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds.
6. Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting oral health equity.
7. Familiarity with Practice Management Software (PMS) such as Dentrix Ascend is a plus, but not required.
