Job Description
Multi-Group Specialist Dental Office, seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Youââ¬â¢ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentistââ¬â¢s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Duties:-Greet & welcome patient(s) upon arrival- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations-Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Undertake lab tasks as instructed- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule patient appointments-Keep the dental treatment room clean and well stocked
Experience:- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or related role is preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Proficiency in medical documentation and recordkeeping- Experience with iTero scanner or similar is a plus
Skills:- Dental receptionist skills- Prosthodontics knowledge- Understanding of medical records management- Proficiency in dental terminology- Ability to maintain aseptic technique standards- Knowledge of general dentistry practices- Understanding of human anatomy- Experience in medical documentation practices- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques- Knowledge of medical coding procedures

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
