PART TIME-DENTAL ASSISTANT WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR FULL TIME.

Our beautiful, new state-of-the-art dental office is under construction in Easton, PA and we are looking for an energetic and highly-motivated dental assistant who is ready to help build something meaningful in the community starting in the new year.

We are looking for a minimum of 1-year of dental assisting experience, x-ray certification, and CPR certification. The ideal candidate will be willing to help in any area of the practice when necessary and willing to learn new procedures and new and innovative ways of doing things.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilized.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with established guidelines.
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting, particularly in pediatrics, is preferred.
Familiarity with dentistry practices and medical terminology is essential.
Proficiency in using dental systems, including Open Dental, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and their guardians.
