Job Description
Hometown Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our practice two days a week. We're a successful, privately owned practice with a mix of FFS and PPO patients. We have an awesome team of 20 including 5 expanded functions dental assistants and 7 hygienists with a total of 10 operatories. We utilize state of the art equipment and the practice software is Eaglesoft.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and conservative dental care, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a friendly personality with a team player spirit.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and treatment options.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and preventive care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment that adheres to safety standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices.
Experience or training in endodontics and pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
