Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area.
Stay updated on medical terminology and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Practicworks is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and procedures related to general dentistry.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.5 per week
