Position Details:

Schedule: Part-time, with clinic hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasional Fridays.
Location: Monmouth, Oregon

Your Role: As a part-time Dental Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in making each patient feel at ease during their visits. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist, sterilizing instruments, and helping patients with valuable oral health information.
Responsibilities:

Support the dentist during a range of procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and rooms to maintain a safe, clean environment
Take and process dental x-rays accurately
Record patient medical histories and monitor vital signs with care
Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare
Maintain an organized and professional workspace

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience as a dental assistant is an advantage
Certification: Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA) preferred; EFDA certification is a plus!
Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
