Job SummaryCoppertop Family Dentistry is looking for a dental assistant to join our long time team of six. We are a one doctor, two hygienist office that focuses on quality work, patient relationships, and a healthy work life balance.

We are looking to add a full time, experienced, EFDA certified assistant who identifies with our core values of kindness and integrity. Our average day includes CEREC same day crowns, implant restorations, clear aligners, botox for TMD and exquisite composite fillings.

Our office is closed on Monday, open Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 and Friday 8:00 - 1:00
An ideal candidate will be EFDA certified and have experience in a general dentist office. The assistant is responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment, taking patient medical histories and x-rays, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, be positive and upbeat as well as have a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
Review schedule and prepare for dental treatments.
Assist the dentist during procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, post treatment care and recommended treatment.
Facilitate a pleasant patient experience.
Maintain patient records and documentation.
Take x-rays, impressions, and digital scans with CEREC primescan.
Keep the dental office clean and organized.
Design and process CEREC restorations.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and general dentistry practices is essential.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.
