Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with the ability to perform various dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and adhering to all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals (endodontics).
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide education to patients regarding oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostics and treatment planning.
Stay current with advancements in dental practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in general dentistry practices with experience in endodontics preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and software such as Epic.
Experience working in a dental clinic environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership when necessary.
