Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on enhancing patient experiences and outcomes while expanding your professional skills. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to begin working with us on a part-time basis, approximately two days per week. However, as we continue to grow, there will be potential for increased hours and more days in the future. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in the dental field. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to provide high-quality dental care to our valued patients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric cases.
Diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Perform general dentistry procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures within the dental office.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices.
Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with prosthodontics and other specialized areas of dentistry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a busy dental clinic setting.
