Job Description

Our state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice is located in Chevy Chase, MD. We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team. We serve children (ages 1 – 18) and we operate a busy office with high levels of traffic. The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, and energetic as well as have at least a high school degree. State of Maryland x-ray certification and at least 1 year of experience is required.
Responsibilities:

Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for the dentist and hygienist.
Assisting dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs.
Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene.
Updating and maintaining dental records.
Occasionally handling general administrative and front desk duties such as greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments.
Taking and processing X-rays of patients (if certified).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 35 per week
