Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterilized and ready for use.
Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Operate 3D scanners as needed for imaging and treatment planning.
Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their specific needs in a friendly manner.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications.
Assist in the administration of medical coding for insurance purposes.
Requirements
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.
Proficiency in assisting with general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation processes is advantageous.
Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
