Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, yet laid-back environment. Our office is open Monday to Thursday 9-5 to balance work and life.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Perform tasks related to prosthodontics, including impressions and temporary restorations.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining medical documentation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures is essential.
Familiarity with dental systems such as Dentrix is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
