Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient treatments.
Manage medical records accurately and ensure that all patient information is up-to-date.
Provide support in various specialties including Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry as needed.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor vital signs and assist in maintaining aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient office operations.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:

Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practices.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software for managing patient records is preferred.
Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus but not required.
