Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Review medical records and document patient history accurately.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management and documentation.
Perform medical imaging procedures as necessary to assist in diagnosis.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental office.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist with a valid state license.
Team approach to daily responsibilities
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation review processes.
Proficiency in using dental software applications such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is preferred.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.

Pay: $43.00 - $49.00 per hour
