Job Summary:
Mon-Thur 8:00-5:00We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
-General cleaning of office
Skills:- Experience is a plus- Ability to operate X-Ray equipment and develop X-Rays- Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix)- Knowledge of infection control protocols and systems- Understanding of medical coding for dental procedures- Strong patient assessment skills- Previous experience in dental assisting
