Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join Blakeney Dental. We have been serving the Charlotte community since 2005. Our office is fully digital and paperless. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of various dental procedures, patient assessment skills, and a commitment to maintaining infection control standards.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform a range of dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat dental issues effectively.
Maintain accurate medical coding for all procedures performed.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to safeguard patient health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, including CAD systems.
Provide education to patients regarding oral health and preventive care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong skills in patient assessment and communication.
Experience with medical coding and familiarity with Epic software is preferred.
Proficiency in performing various dental procedures including root canal therapy and dental extractions.
Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental clinic setting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
