Established dental office(1986) that has expanded to a larger , brand new office and is looking for someone to add to the team. Chairs include Piezo scalers included with the units. 1 hr appts, flexible schedule, 6 operatories. Typical day is 2 Dentist and 2 hygienist . We would like to add a 3rd. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. A strong understanding of infection control protocols and familiarity with dental software is essential.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ensure infection control standards are met throughout the practice.
Review patient documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide care for pediatric patients, fostering a comfortable environment for children.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
