Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in areas such as prosthodontics and root canal therapy. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all patients. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
Provide treatment for various dental issues, including general dentistry procedures, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
Perform dental fabrications as needed, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and medical documentation.
Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient operation of the practice.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Experience
A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures is necessary.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Experience with aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures is highly valued.
Additional skills in areas such as dental fabrication and advanced restorative techniques will be considered an asset.

Pay: $239,125.00 - $262,047.00 per year
