Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control protocols.
Manage dental supplies inventory and assist in ordering as needed.
Understand and apply aseptic techniques during procedures.
Support the dentist in prosthodontics and general dentistry tasks by preparing materials and assisting with patient management.
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dental practices.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in vital signs monitoring and basic anatomy knowledge.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, including infection control measures.
Experience with X-ray technology and an understanding of prosthodontics is preferred.
Ability to assist effectively in various dental procedures while maintaining patient comfort.
Strong organizational skills to manage systems related to patient care efficiently.
