Registered Dental Hygienist - Family Dental Center - Bear, DE

Duties

Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary
Accurately and promptly chart each patient’s dental health
Perform scaling, root planing and selective polishing for patients as appropriate
Polish restorations
Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist
Apply cavity-preventive agents, such as fluorides and sealants
Perform other tasks assigned by the dentist

Skills

Communication skills. You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and members of the dental team.
Attention to detail. You must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
Need to be able to educate patients with proper perio/non-perio treatment and oral hygiene habits.
Should be comfortable working with electronic records systems (Dentrix experience preferred).
Experience in taking X-Rays.
Experience with iTero a plus
