Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Dental Assistant II
Location: Crafting Smiles
Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays and one Friday a month (Half-Day)
Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience

As a vital member of our dental care team, you will work closely with our dentist and other dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during dental procedures, including preparing the work area, passing instruments, and providing suction or other assistance as needed.
Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments by seating them comfortably and obtaining their dental records.
Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by dentists.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) or radiography (RDA) preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with dental software preferred.
