Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including endodontics, some pediatric dentistry, and dental extractions, as well as familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to fillings, crowns, bridges, endodontics, and extractions.
Provide preventive care and education to patients about oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to optimize patient care.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient treatment plans.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental practices.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
