Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services while ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
F/T and P/T candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities- Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases using appropriate diagnostic tools.- Proficiency in restorative dentistry. Experience with oral surgery, implants, endodontics and orthodontics ideal.- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments in accordance with office protocols.- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques into practice as appropriate.
Requirements- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.- Valid state dental license and ability to pass any required background checks.- Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical records systems.- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.- A commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dentistry.
