Job Position: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our state-of-the-art dental office. This position plays a critical role in patient care, working closely with the dentist and support staff to ensure a comfortable and positive dental experience for all patients.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
Take and interpret dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing oral health issues
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and home maintenance routines
Assess patientsâ oral health, document findings, and report any concerns to the dentist
Apply preventive materials such as fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
Maintain accurate patient records using the practiceâs electronic health record systems
Keep current on the latest techniques and guidelines in dental hygiene through continuing education
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of California
Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
Commitment to patient comfort, education, and high-quality care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 â 26 per week
