Certified Dental Assistant
As a Certified Dental Assistant, you assist and support the clinical needs of the patients and doctors.
Responsibilities:
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Take dental X-rays
Perform digital intraoral scans
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Collaborate with practice team to ensure the best patient experience
Qualifications:
Prior training/schooling as a dental assistant
Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or licensure
Punctual and reliable
Good listener, communication skills with patients
Good computer skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Weekends as needed
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Work Location: In person
