Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dental software such as Dentrix preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for each patient visit.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care to promote overall dental health.
Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing patient care with the dental team.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment within the dental clinic.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix.
Knowledge of medical records management and documentation review processes.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, including assisting with various procedures.
