Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced dental office setting. Experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and crowns- Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment- Maintain patient medical records and treatment information- Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed
Qualifications
High school diploma
Familiarity with Dentrix is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a busy clinical environment
Ability to perform tasks with precision while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
