Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with clinic policies.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with both patients and the dental team.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a friendly approach that helps ease children's anxiety during visits.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is an advantage.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, particularly children in pediatric dentistry settings.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ââ¬â 40 per week
