Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all tools and materials are ready.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to top safety standards.
Take dental X-rays as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
Comfort and reassure patients throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate patient records in Eaglesoft.
Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Support the team with lab tasks, impressions, and other clinical duties.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant or equivalent education.
Experience with dental software like Eaglesoft (or similar).
Strong understanding of dental terminology, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
Ability to remain calm and provide a comforting presence for patients.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate.
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
