Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical imaging procedures as directed, including X-rays and other diagnostic imaging.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Support the dental team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is desirable.
Understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting.
Ability to assist with endodontic procedures is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
