Full Job Description
Motivated, energetic dental assistant wanted for busy Fairfax practice. We are conveniently located close to George Mason University and downtown Fairfax inbetween Fairfax Blvd and Main St. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus but not required. Dentrix preferred, but will train. Job includes but is not limited to the following: greeting and seating patients, chairside assisting, taking x-rays, cleaning and stocking rooms, taking impressions, sterilizing instruments, charting and being part of a fun-loving, supportive team!
Our well-established, state-of-the-art dental practice is still growing by leaps and bounds! We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Assistant. This position calls for candidates who are comfortable with providing a variety of dental care services. Currently, we offer hygiene services, general dentistry (family and cosmetic), implants, ortho, oral surgery, consultations, and many other services.
The ideal candidates will understand the need to provide compassionate and complete oral care to every patient of every age group who walks through our doors. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities for Dental Assistant
Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
Take and process X-rays
Sterilize and maintain instruments
Set up and break down operatories
Assist with supply inventory and ordering
Complete in-house fabrication of dental materials
Maintain a high level of customer service and care at all times
Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
In response to the covid-19 pandemic, we are proactively screening patients, have installed air purifiers, sneeze guards, extra PPE and added barriers.
