Job Description:
Due to the expansion of the academic and clinical missions, the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital is accepting applications for faculty positions in dental anesthesiology. The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine provided anesthetic care for more than 45,000 patients last year, covering 42 anesthetizing locations a day with a faculty of 45 fellowship trained pediatric anesthesiologists and 55 CRNAs. In September 2024, we opened an outpatient surgery center at our main campus with 4 outpatient surgery operating rooms and 4 dental operating rooms. The Department has an active ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and serves as the pediatric anesthesiology training site for anesthesiology and dental anesthesiology residents from The Ohio State University. There are numerous opportunities for clinical research and academic advancement.
