**Overview:**
Join Icon Pediatric Dentistry as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual who is proficient in various dental systems and techniques to support our practice.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take X-rays and maintain patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Ensure the dental practice is clean, sterile, organized, and equipped
- Perform aseptic techniques
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Proficiency in dental assisting and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
- Experience with Endodontics procedures
- Ability to take accurate X-rays
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skill in maintaining aseptic techniques
