Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures. This role involves providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and dental fabrications.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic for patient management and record-keeping.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuous education.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Proficiency in performing root canal therapy and other advanced dental procedures.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
