Job Description
Job OverviewGeneral Dentist position available in our locations, Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, Glendale, Queens and Marine Park, Brooklyn.
A General Dentist who is strong in case presentation to patients and does comprehensive treatment planning. Providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleanings, root canals(simple), surgical extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. Must be comfortable with implant restorations.
If you place implants that would be a plus but not required. We have hundreds of cases with no empty slots to schedule patients in(waitlist only).
Compensation will be discussed at time of interview.
We do offer a guarantee option.
Days and hours are negotiable, possibility of practicing in ALL locations is an option for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including root canal therapy and prosthodontics.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatments effectively.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Provide four-handed dentistry support during procedures to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Active state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage.

Pay: $160,849.00 - $183,720.00 per year
