Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice for one or two days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral hygiene practices. This is a one doctor practice with three operatories. You will have one hour per patient.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings, take intra oral and panoramic radiographs, apply fluoride- Perform patient assessments and review medical history- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Turn over the operatory after each patient
- Keep tracking hygiene materials inventory
- Follow up on recall patients as needed
Requirements- Registered Dental Hygienist- Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care- Strong communication skills- Knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control practices- Experience in using EMR systems and dental software
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
